Job Responsibilities

As a Temp Cashier at Heineken, your main job will be to make sure all cash transactions are handled smoothly. Here’s what you’ll do:

Use the correct screen for transactions on the WPRO system.
Scan and process customers’ product lists.
Capture customer account details correctly.
Check invoices and report any differences.
Receive cash payments and verify the money using the smart box system.
Give the correct change and ensure accurate capturing of amounts.
Provide customers with their invoices on time.
Maintain security and keep your workspace neat and organized.
Offer quick and friendly service to customers.
File and ensure all invoices are properly signed.
Follow the right procedures when handling cash.
Report any cash discrepancies or smart box faults to the relevant department.
Handle customer returns and empty product packaging.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for this role, you must have:

✅ Grade 12 (Matric) qualification – A higher certificate is a plus!
✅ 1-3 years of experience in a cashier or similar role.
✅ Previous experience in banking or retail is an advantage.
✅ Knowledge of the SAP system and retail office operations.
✅ Be willing to work overtime, on public holidays, and Saturdays if needed.
