As a Temp Cashier at Heineken, your role is to process cash transactions accurately, handle administrative duties, and provide excellent customer service.
✅ Process transactions accurately on the cash register
✅ Manage cash sales and balance received payments
✅ Verify invoices and scanned product lists for accuracy
✅ File and control invoices to maintain proper records
✅ Perform cash-ups and ensure accurate balancing of funds
✅ Handle cash drops regularly and use the smart-box system correctly
✅ Assist with stock control, stock take, and interim counts
✅ Minimize stock losses by following company procedures
✅ Promote new products to customers
✅ Ensure excellent customer service at all times
✅ Maintain a clean and safe work area following company regulations
✅ Follow company policies and contribute to process improvements
💡 This is a fast-paced role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills!
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
✅ Matric (Grade 12) Certificate
✅ 1-2 years of cash-handling experience
✅ Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP is a plus!)
✅ Valid Driver’s License (Code EC/PDP) – for delivery tasks
✅ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
✅ Strong communication and presentation skills
