💼 What Does a General Clerk Do?

As a General Clerk at Russells, your main job is to support store operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and help drive sales. You’ll also be responsible for handling stock, cash, and compliance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Stock Control – Keep track of stock levels and maintain company assets
✅ Cash & Credit Handling – Process transactions following company policies
✅ Sales Activities – Assist customers and drive in-store sales
✅ Customer Service – Help customers in a friendly and professional manner
✅ Teamwork & Self-Management – Work well with others and manage your time efficiently
✅ Branch Manager Support – Act as a relief manager when the Branch Manager is on leave

✅ 1-2 years of retail experience
✅ Strong store administration skills

✅ MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
