What You’ll Be Doing:

Boost Sales: You’ll be responsible for generating sales and hitting budget targets. Whether it’s through product recommendations or simply making customers feel valued, your goal is to drive sales in-store.
Engage with Customers: At JD Tech, customer satisfaction is key. You’ll attract and retain customers through effective merchandising and exceptional customer service.
Handle Cash and Credit Processes: You’ll manage cash and credit transactions in line with company policies, ensuring smooth and secure operations.
Work as a Team: Collaboration is essential. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure the store meets its targets and maintains high standards.
Stay Updated on Products: Knowing the products inside out is crucial. You’ll need extensive knowledge of the tech products you’re selling so that you can offer the best advice to customers.

Do You Have What It Takes?

JD Tech is looking for candidates who are driven, self-motivated, and ready to take on new challenges. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

Education: Grade 12 or equivalent in numeracy and literacy.

Experience: Ideally, 7 to 12 months of experience in retail, particularly in sales.

Skills: You should have strong communication skills, be customer-oriented, and work well in a team. Attention to detail and the ability to take the initiative are also key.

Knowledge: Familiarity with sales processes, retail operations, and relevant legislation (such as NCA, CPA, OHASA) is essential. Experience with SAP and basic retail knowledge will give you an edge.

Personal Traits: JD Tech values employees who are confident, resilient, and emotionally mature. You should have the drive and energy to meet targets and deliver results.
