Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Cleaner will perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the facility.

General Cleaning Duties

The successful applicant will be expected to:

• Mop and clean production areas when required
• Clean service plant areas regularly
• Clean stainless steel equipment and pipework
• Wash and maintain machine cooling system filters weekly
• Clean drains in production and blending areas
• Clean water baths as required every month
• Wash and sanitize production utensils
• Monitor and clean outside yard areas daily
• Clean and sanitize drums and containers
• Prepare and weigh drums for manufacturing processes
• Clean floors, walls, windows, and production equipment

Additional Duties

The Cleaner may also be required to:

• Clean machinery when instructed by supervisors
• Assist with special cleaning projects
• Support production teams when needed

Health and Safety Responsibilities
