Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 10
• Citizenship: South African citizen
• Residency: Must be a resident of the City of Ekurhuleni

Core Responsibilities

1. Material Handling:
   • Loading and offloading materials, plants, and equipment.
2. Safety Compliance:
   • Adhering to safety requirements to minimize injury and damage.
   • Following safety instructions for equipment use during loading and offloading, vehicle travel, workshop safety, and safe lifting techniques.
3. General Labor:
   • Performing labor-intensive tasks in and around the workshop, yard, or construction sites.
   • Engaging in construction and maintenance of municipal buildings.
4. Equipment Maintenance:
   • Ensuring equipment is in safe operating condition.
   • Following established safety procedures and techniques for task performance.
