What You’ll Be Doing

Your role as a Supervisor will include a mix of leadership, customer service, and operational duties. You’ll work closely with the management team to make sure the store meets its targets and delivers a top-notch shopping experience.

Sales and Customer Experience:

• Drive sales by giving customers a great experience every time they visit.
• Implement promotions, markdowns, and visual merchandising plans to attract shoppers.

Team Management:

• Motivate and guide store associates to achieve daily goals.

Stock Management:

• Oversee stock receiving, unpacking, and merchandising to keep shelves full and neat.
• Conduct regular stock counts and manage inventory to avoid shortages or losses.
• Maintain an organized and clean stockroom to meet safety and housekeeping standards.

Risk and Compliance:

• Assist with audits, reports, and store checks to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor security, cash handling, and store systems to minimize risk.
• Make sure health and safety standards are always followed by all employees.

What You’ll Need to Qualify

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a mix of experience, knowledge, and the right attitude.

Education and Experience:

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership position.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Computer literacy and strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service.
• Knowledge of sales management, stock control, and loss prevention.
• A good sense of brand and product presentation.
