Position Overview
Old Mutual is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic team. This role involves travel bookings, administrative processes, team assistance, and health and safety responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
Administration:
- Arrange travel bookings including flights, accommodation, cars, and shuttles.
- Maintain office supplies and kitchen stock as needed.
- Manage administrative processes and produce monthly reports.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all details are up to date.
Team Assistance:
- Support team members with various tasks such as catering and room setups when required.
- Manage access control, issue access tokens/cards, and alarm codes for colleagues.
Health & Safety:
- Serve as Team Leader for First Aiders and Emergency Wardens.
- Investigate health and safety issues, reviewing the effectiveness of measures in place.
- Ensure ongoing training and incident reporting compliance.
Personal Effectiveness:
- Ensure service delivery through personal efforts.
- Broaden individual skills to increase contributions to the team.
- Collaborate effectively with others and embrace company values.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required
- Matric & tertiary qualification in administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in reception and administration.
- Proficient in switchboard operations and telephone etiquette.
- Excellent service delivery and customer-focused attitude.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong communication and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage stressful situations in a vibrant, dynamic team.
- Exceptional time management skills.
