Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for this role, you need:

Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics is an advantage) or NQF Level 4

Experience: Previous experience managing people and a department

Preferred Experience: Previous experience in clothing retail is highly advantageous

Skills: Strong communication, admin, decision-making, organizational, and planning skills

Attributes: Enthusiastic, ethical, honest, proactive, and self-motivated

What Will You Do?

As an Assistant Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Banking money and managing the cash office
• Relieving the Store Manager in their absence
• Maintaining company standards of housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline, and security
• Ensuring compliance with all company procedures
• Assisting the Store Manager in managing staff and ensuring front-end controls are in place
• Minimizing stock loss and providing excellent customer service
• Introducing sales initiatives to reach store targets
