As a Sewer Pump Station General Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the sewer pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities. The duties include cleaning, basic maintenance, yard work, and regular inspections. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency and safety of the water infrastructure in the region.

Minimum Requirements:

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification
Previous experience in working with Sewer Pump Stations
Physically and medically fit to perform demanding tasks

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The role involves hands-on operational tasks to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the pump stations:

Register Management:

Signing the Pump Station Register upon visits.

Pump Station Inspections:

Conducting weekly inspections to ensure everything is running smoothly.

Washing floors and walls weekly.

Dusting electrical panels every week.
