Key Responsibilities:

As a Salesperson at Russells, your primary goal is to generate sales and ensure customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Sales Generation:

  • Perform sales activities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend products that best suit their preferences.
  • Engage with customers to provide detailed information about the products.

Customer Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

Attract and retain customers by ensuring that the store layout and product presentation are inviting.

Sales Administration:

Process cash and credit sales accurately and in line with company policies.

Maintain records of sales transactions and follow the correct procedures for processing payments.

Customer Service Excellence:

Deal with customers in a professional and customer-centric manner.

Ensure that customer queries are addressed promptly, and provide after-sales support as needed.

What We’re Looking for:

We are seeking someone who is passionate about sales, driven by results, and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment. To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Grade 12 Certificate (Matric)
  • 7 – 12 months of sales experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively
  • Self-motivation and a goal-driven attitude

  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Teamwork and a willingness to collaborate with others
