About the Armed Guard Officer Position

Main Responsibilities

As an Armed Guard Officer, your daily duties may include:

• Conduct regular patrols around the premises.

Minimum Requirements

OR

• Grade 10 or Grade 11 with at least five years of security industry experience.

• At least two years of experience in the security industry.
• Previous experience working as an Armed Guard or Armed Response Officer.
• Proven experience working in high-risk environments such as mining or industrial operations.
• Firearm Competency Certificates for all three firearm categories, including business purposes.
• A valid medical fitness certificate.
• No criminal record, supported by SAPS fingerprint clearance.
• A valid Code 8 (B) driver’s licence or higher, depending on site requirements.
• Must currently reside in Secunda.
