🛍️ About the Job: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Retail Supervisor at Shoe City, your main role will be to keep customers happy and make sure the store runs smoothly. You’ll be responsible for things like:

✔ Helping customers: Answering questions, recommending products, and making sure every customer has a great shopping experience.
✔ Processing sales: Handling payments quickly and correctly at the tills.
✔ Stocking up: Making sure new stock is displayed properly and shelves are never empty.
✔ Keeping the store neat: Ensuring price tags, visual displays, and products are all in the right place.
✔ Supervising staff: Helping manage employees and making sure they do their tasks properly.
✔ Managing stock & money: Keeping track of inventory, handling daily banking, and making sure all equipment is accounted for.
✔ Following safety rules: Ensuring the store is safe for both customers and employees.
✔ Meeting sales targets: Helping the store reach its weekly and monthly sales goals.
✔ Preventing stock loss: Working on strategies to reduce theft and damage.

📌 Who Can Apply? Qualifications You Need

To qualify for this position, you must have:

✅ Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
✅ NQF Level 4 in Wholesale & Retail Operations (or related field).
✅ Retail experience: 3 – 5 years of experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager.
✅ Basic computer skills: You should be comfortable using store systems and software.
✅ Good communication skills: You need to be able to talk to customers and staff clearly and professionally.
