🎯 Job Purpose
To provide top-quality food, beverage, and hospitality services at SARB events and functions — helping create a welcoming and professional experience for guests, clients, and staff.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- 🧹 Set up, clear and prep venues like boardrooms, cafés, and meeting spaces.
- 🥤 Serve food and beverages with the highest hygiene and courtesy standards.
- 🧼 Ensure full compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, OHS&E).
- 🧽 Keep all working areas clean, safe, and organized.
- 👥 Engage with clients, staff, and visitors politely and professionally.
- 📦 Keep track of cutlery and crockery – record any breakages or shortages.
- 🧠 Work independently and solve problems as they come up.
- 🕒 Complete tasks on time and to standard.
- 🔄 Continuously look for ways to improve service delivery.
- 🧳 Handle lost and found items correctly.
✅ What You’ll Need
Minimum Requirements
- ✅ Grade 12 (Matric) / NQF Level 4 certificate
- ✅ 1–2 years’ experience in a hospitality-related role
- ✅ Additional experience in corporate or event catering is a plus
