Main Purpose of the Role

As a Flexi Store Assistant at Spitz, your primary goal is to deliver the highest standards of customer service. You will be responsible for assisting customers, managing stock, and ensuring that all cash control processes are followed. This role is perfect for someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the smooth operation of the store. These include:

Cash Control:

• Performing the cash desk function efficiently.
• Ensuring all cash control and banking processes are followed daily.
• Maintaining 0 cash variances.
• Accurately recording manual transactions.

Stock Control:

• Following daily stock management processes.
• Following up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Conducting weekly stock counts accurately.
• Keeping the storeroom in good condition.
• Completing the shoe pairing exercise weekly to maintain product availability.

Customer Service:

• Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Expanding your product knowledge to better assist customers.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of retail experience is required.

Qualifications:

• Complete Matric/Grade 12.

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of retail administration disciplines, including stock and cash management.
• Product knowledge and sales skills.
• Understanding of policies and procedures related to the cash desk, stockroom, and admin tasks.
• Strong numerical ability.
