Job Description

As a Personal Assistant at Standard Bank, you will provide comprehensive secretarial support to our executives. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative Support: Acting as the first point of contact and handling all administrative tasks efficiently. This includes managing executive diaries, monitoring emails, and coordinating meeting logistics.
  • Diary Management: Organizing and managing the executive’s calendar, ensuring all appointments and meetings are scheduled effectively.
  • Email Monitoring: Keeping track of incoming emails and ensuring timely responses or actions.

  • Meeting Logistics: Arranging all aspects of meetings, including booking venues, preparing agendas, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready.
  • Procurement Process: Assisting with procurement tasks, including purchasing office supplies and managing related processes.
  • Travel Arrangements: Planning and organizing travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Written Communication: Drafting and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you need:

  • Minimum Qualifications: A diploma in Office Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in secretarial services, providing support to senior executives.
