130 Work Experience Opportunities at FoodBev SETA – Apply Now Before It’s Too Late!

FoodBev SETA Invites Unemployed Youth to Apply for 130 In-Service Training Opportunities (X130 Posts). The closing date for applications is 27 May 2025.

If you are a South African student who studied Business or Engineering and need real work experience to complete your qualification, this is the chance you’ve been waiting for. FoodBev SETA, in partnership with Gert Sibande TVET College, is giving you an opportunity to join their Work Integrated Learning Programme (WIL) for 2025. There are 130 in-service training positions available across different fields. These positions are in the Gert Sibande Region and are open to students who have completed their N4 to N6 qualifications but haven’t yet had workplace training.

This programme is perfect for students who want to gain real-world skills, build their CVs, and finally complete their qualification requirements. You don’t want to miss this opportunity — especially because it’s rare to find so many openings (130 positions!) in one place.

What Is This Work Integrated Learning Programme About?

This programme is made to help you get the practical work experience you need for your qualification. It’s also called “in-service training.” When you join, you’ll be placed in a real company where you can apply what you’ve learned in class to real jobs.

  • Business Management – 20 posts
  • Marketing Management – 20 posts

  • Financial Management – 20 posts
  • Management Assistant – 40 posts

Engineering Studies (10 Positions):

  • Electrical Engineering – 5 posts

Who Can Apply?

To apply for this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must have completed your N4, N5, or N6 certificate in one of the above-mentioned studies.
  • You must be unemployed and a South African citizen.
  • You must not have taken part in any WIL (Work Integrated Learning) programme before.
  • There are no age restrictions, so everyone who qualifies can apply.
  • Priority will be given to students who are already volunteering at a company (if this applies to you, include a valid, stamped confirmation letter from the company).

The duration of the programme is between 18 to 24 months, giving you enough time to gain strong workplace experience.
