What You’ll Be Doing on the Job

As a Frontshop Assistant, your job is to make sure customers are happy, and the store looks good at all times. Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Making sure the shelves are always full and tidy
  • Checking for expired products and removing them
  • Restocking shelves when items run low
  • Assisting customers with their questions and helping them find what they need
  • Handling customer purchases at the till (cash, cards, vouchers, etc.)
  • Returning items to shelves when customers change their minds
  • Helping with stock deliveries and unpacking
  • Reporting low or damaged stock to the manager
  • Keeping the store clean and organised

What You Need to Apply

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • 0 to 6 months of retail experience (not required but helpful)

Added Advantage:

  • 1 year of experience in retail
  • A certificate in Retail Business Management

  • Able to handle money and do simple maths
  • Willing to follow company rules
  • Neat and well-groomed
  • Ready to learn and take on different tasks
