What Is the AFGRI Farmer Development Learnership?

AFGRI Farmer Development (AFD) invites people to join a special 12-month Learnership Programme at the Vastfontein Farm, located in Pretoria North, Gauteng. This structured program mixes working on an actual farm with classroom lessons focused on Farming with Crops and Animals. It’s designed to teach you everything you need to succeed in agriculture — from practical farm work to important farming knowledge.

The programme encourages applications from everyone but especially welcomes women and people with disabilities who have been underrepresented in farming jobs before.
