As a General Worker at Epol’s Micro Store, your main job is to make sure the correct medication and the right number of batches get scanned and sent to the production area. What Do You Need to Qualify?

You need to have finished Grade 12 or have an equal level of literacy and numeracy. It’s important to be physically fit because you will need to carry heavy bags that weigh up to 40kg. Being honest and having good integrity is very important for this role because you will be handling important materials.

Experience matters too. At least one year working in this industry or a similar role is required. If you have worked in a Feed Mill environment before, that’s a big advantage. This shows you understand the kind of work involved and the safety rules.

Skills and Qualities

You should be able to work well both on your own and in a team. Having good communication and getting along with others is necessary. Since you’ll be working shifts and sometimes overtime or public holidays, being flexible and ready for these hours is important.

You need to be able to work in dusty and hot conditions and pass a criminal record check. You will often be moving around, lifting bags, and helping the team reach their goals.

• Helping with any extra tasks given by Mill Management or operations
