DIGICAL invites motivated applicants to apply for their Business Administrator Learnership with a special focus on Human Resources (HR). There are limited spots available, and the closing date to submit your application is coming soon. This is a great chance for young people eager to learn and grow in a professional HR environment.

If you’re interested in building a career in HR but don’t have much experience yet, this learnership could be the perfect starting point. It combines both classroom learning and hands-on practical work over twelve months. You will gain a recognized qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and get paid a monthly stipend of R5,500.

What Is the Learnership About?

The DIGICAL Business Administrator Learnership aims to give you a strong foundation in business administration. You will learn how to support bosses and teams by helping organize daily business tasks. The program focuses on teaching how to work well in a team, communicate professionally, and assist with smooth business operations.

A special part of this learnership is focusing on Human Resources. You will get to experience real activities within an HR office, helping with important processes like recruitment, employee support, and record keeping. This is a unique opportunity to see how HR professionals work and develop skills that are useful in many kinds of jobs.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, you need to have finished Grade 12 or have an equivalent National Qualification at Level 4. If you already have a diploma or degree related to Human Resources or Industrial Psychology, that’s an extra advantage—but it’s not required.

You don’t need a lot of experience to apply, but having some knowledge or past work in HR or business administration will help your chances. Basic computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are important since you will need to use these programs regularly.

What Skills Will You Learn?

During this learnership, you will develop:

  • Clear and polite communication skills, both spoken and written, in English
  • Proper phone and email etiquette to handle professional conversations
  • Basic computer skills for administration tasks
  • Understanding of HR functions such as employee records, recruitment processes, and general office administration
  • Teamwork and how to provide great support to managers and colleagues

What Will Your Daily Tasks Look Like?

As an intern or junior HR administrator, your typical day could include supporting HR staff with filing and organizing employee information, helping coordinate interviews, answering phone calls, and sending emails. You will assist in keeping the office running smoothly and making sure information is recorded accurately.

You will also learn how HR policies work and get involved in helping with employee-related paperwork. All these experiences aim to prepare you for a professional career in HR or any business administration role.

Why Choose This Learnership?

Choosing this learnership gives you:

  • A paid opportunity to study and work at the same time
  • Real-world experience that employers value
