What We’re Looking For

To qualify for this role, you need to meet the following minimum requirements:

• PSIRA Grade C: You must be registered and accredited with PSIRA.
• Firearm Competency: Although not mandatory, having competency with handguns, shotguns, and rifles will give you an advantage.
• Education: A matric certificate or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Clean Record: You should have no criminal record or any pending cases.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience is a plus, as is any experience in basic investigations and incident response.
• Shift Flexibility: You must be able to work shifts, particularly night shifts, for extended periods.
• Location: You should reside in Kroonstad or the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

As a Grade C Security Officer at Fidelity Security Services, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all site-specific security requirements are met. You will be expected to uphold the highest standards of service to ensure that our clients’ needs are efficiently and professionally addressed. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

1. Security Enforcement: Ensuring that all security protocols are followed at the site.
2. Incident Response: Handling incidents and conducting basic investigations as needed.
3. Client Interaction: Maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and higher management.
4. Shift Work: Being available to work various shifts, including extended night shifts.
5. Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrating strong leadership abilities and working effectively with your team to ensure smooth operations.
