Job Description
Position Purpose: As the Store Manager, you’ll lead the store team to meet business KPIs. This includes driving sales, controlling costs, reducing risks and stock loss, handling administration, and ensuring world-class store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Boost Sales: Focus on exceptional customer service and maintain world-class store standards. Manage the store’s image, stock, and promotional activities.
- Minimize Stock Loss: Foster a healthy store culture by following security measures and proper stock and cash handling procedures.
- Cost Management: Drive efficiency in the store to align with the company’s low-cost culture.
- Administrative Duties: Ensure all administrative tasks are completed according to company guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and manage a dynamic team of Dynamos to achieve high performance.
- Maintain Standards: Ensure health, safety, and housekeeping standards are upheld.
Job Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 is essential. A degree or diploma in business or retail-related fields is advantageous.
- Experience: Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Proficient in English
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to plan, lead, organize, and control
- Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work retail hours
