What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Making Detonating Cord:

• Work on different production stations (C1 to C6) to make detonating cords of different sizes.
• Handle powder charges carefully using specific formulas.

2. Machine Setup and Operation:

• Set up machines with the right tools based on what you’re making.
• Keep accurate records of the production processes.

3. Quality Control:

• Regularly collect samples from each spool to check quality.
• Inspect, pack, and label the final product accurately.

4. Keep the Place Clean:

• Maintain cleanliness in the production area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

5. Shift Management:

• Perform start-up routines before shifts and shut-down procedures at the end of the week or as needed.

6. Methodology:

• Understand Epex methodology to stick to production standards.

7. Handle Pressure:

• Stay calm and work efficiently under pressure, including working full shifts and overtime if needed.

8. Personal Traits:

• Be detail-oriented, diligent, and maintain high integrity.
• Foster teamwork while being able to work independently.

What You Need to Have:

Education:

• Grade 12 Certificate (high school diploma).
• Math and Science background is a plus.

Experience:

• At least 6+ months of experience in explosives manufacturing.
• Experience in a cord plant is a bonus.
