What Will You Be Doing?

As an HR Intern at Shiluvah, your role will be dynamic and varied. You’ll be involved in several key tasks that are crucial to the smooth operation of the HR department. Here’s what you can expect to do:

  • Job Posting and Candidate Management: Assist in posting job advertisements on different platforms and manage the flow of incoming applications.
  • Resume Screening and Interviews: Screen resumes, conduct initial assessments of candidates, and help coordinate interview schedules.
  • Employee Record Maintenance: Keep employee records up-to-date in HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Meeting and Training Coordination: Assist in organizing employee meetings, including performance reviews, and help schedule training sessions.
  • Employee Inquiries: Handle employee questions and concerns, directing them to the appropriate HR personnel when necessary.
  • Internal Communications: Support the development and distribution of newsletters, policy updates, and other internal communications.
  • Training Materials: Help create and organize training materials, presentations, and other HR resources.
  • Tracking and Compliance: Monitor employee participation in training programs and ensure that all training requirements are met.
  • Record Keeping: Assist with maintaining and updating employee records, including personal details, benefits, and attendance.

To be considered for this internship, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Recently completed a Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
