The Commercial Advancement Training Scheme is designed to give you hands-on experience helping with administrative and financial tasks in different departments. You will receive guidance while learning how to manage data, finances, and other important office duties. Sometimes, you may also assist with simple projects that support business operations.

What You’ll Gain

  • An 18-month contract combining work and part-time study

  • The chance to earn an ICB Office Administration qualification at NQF Level 5 by studying outside of work hours

Who Should Apply?

Siemens is looking for recent matriculants or young individuals eager to start their careers in finance and administration. Ideal candidates:

  • Have a Grade 12 certificate with Pure Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and Accounting, achieving at least 65% in both subjects
  • Are computer literate, especially skilled in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Show honesty, integrity, and strong attention to detail
  • Are willing to travel around Northriding and nearby Siemens offices or project sites
  • Have a passion for Accounting or Business Administration
  • Are ready to study part-time for their qualification, dedicating extra effort beyond working hours
  • Share Siemens Mobility’s values and want to contribute positively to their own future and South Africa’s progress

What to Expect Day-to-Day

As part of this learnership, you will perform routine but important admin tasks like:

  • Managing data and financial information
  • Supporting office operations under supervision
  • Helping with projects that improve how things run
