🔑 What the Job Involves
As a Code 14 Driver in the AVI Logistics team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Making sure products are delivered on time and in perfect condition
- Handling customer interactions in a polite and professional way
- Keeping your vehicle clean, well-maintained, and safe to operate
- Practicing safe and defensive driving at all times
- Managing records and delivery schedules accurately
- Assisting with basic housekeeping duties at the Distribution Centre
- Being willing to work long hours, weekends, and overnight trips when needed
- Following all transport regulations and health & safety rules (OHSACT)
✅ What You Need to Apply
Before you apply, make sure you meet the following requirements:
Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar delivery role
- Hands-on experience handling large trucks and long-distance delivery
- Comfort with customer interaction and pressure situations
License & Documents:
- A valid Code 14 (EC) Driver’s License
- A valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Education:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent is essential
