This opportunity is for 10 Assistant Sales Representative positions under the Emerging Markets team. The programme will run for 12 months and gives you real work experience while earning a stipend.

This learnership is part of Clover’s mission to support youth development and job creation in South Africa. These positions will be based at various locations across the country, reporting to the Clover Clayville branch in Gauteng. What is the Clover YES Learnership Programme All About?

Who Can Apply?

To be considered for this exciting sales learnership, you must:

Have Grade 12 / Matric certificate (NQF 4)
Be unemployed and available for 12 months
Have a valid Code 08 driver’s license
Be fluent in English
Be a South African citizen aged between 18–35

What Will You Do in This Role?

Here’s what your daily responsibilities could look like:

1. Bring in New Customers

Visit potential clients in the Food Service Industry (FSI) and General Trade (GT) channels
Help clients apply for accounts with Clover
Make sure at least 125 FSI and 200 GT customers are recruited each month

2. Support Customer Service

Help new customers get started smoothly
Keep great relationships with existing clients
Solve customer problems quickly and professionally
Work closely with Sales Reps and Area Managers to make sure customers are taken care of

3. Sales Support Tasks

Help set up customer orders and ensure stock availability
Minimize product returns and maintain product display (facings)
Monitor how well products are selling
Keep records of all sales by outlet and product
Make sure the right prices are used, and fridges meet compliance standards
